Nintendo's 3rd installment in the Animal Crossing series was just confirmed for the Nintendo Wii!
It's title is:
Animal Crossing City Folk.
From what I've read it sounds like there will be a rural area (like the first two games) and an urban area complete with new shops and destinations. There is a place for bidding on item auctions and Gracie now has her own shop. A bus comes to town that you ride to the urban area!
You can take advantage of many of the Wii's capabilities, such as Wi-Fi, the mircophone, and there's a Mii transformer that you can use to change your AC character into your Mii!
